Spring 2024 Career Fairs

Check back here as the Spring 2024 semester approaches for additional events as they’re announced.

Generally, registration will remain open until each event is full or two weeks before the date of the fair. Please note attendance for most virtual fairs will not exceed 75 companies per Fair. UW–Madison career fairs are held both virtually and in-person. Virtual events are held using Handshake. Handshake offers detailed guidance for employers, including a Virtual Career Fair training webinar.

September 11-14, 2023: Engineering Career Fair (in person)

The College of Engineering Career Fair supports companies seeking UW-Madison students and alumni at the co-op, summer intern, graduating BS, MS, & PhD levels, as well as professional and experienced alumni, with majors in all engineering disciplines, computer sciences, physics & other STEM fields.

The Real Estate Club Career Fair offers companies the unique opportunity to connect with and recruit over 650 undergraduate, MS and MBA real estate students from the Wisconsin Real Estate Program, which is the #1 Real Estate Program as ranked by the 2022-23 U.S. News & World Report survey. Students are available for internships and full-time employment.

This year’s fair is timed in conjunction with the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association Biennial Conference on Thursday, Sept. 21 and Friday, Sept. 22 in Madison. Come for the fair, stay for some fun networking with Real Estate Badger alumni!

This second annual career fair is hosted by the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) Career Management and Employer Relations Division featuring Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) students.

Join the career fair to gain access to a unique population of early-career Master’s talent, ready to enter the market with highly in-demand skills. Students will be searching for both full-time and internship opportunities. MSBA students possess in-depth knowledge in areas such as cloud computing, data visualization, and machine learning anchored in the foundations of business management. November 4, 2022: Analytics & Finance Career Fair (in-person)

When: Friday, November 4, 2022, 10:00am – 4:00pm

Where: Plenary Room, Grainger Hall, 975 University Avenue, Madison, WI

This joint in-person Career Fair is hosted by the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) Career Management Division featuring Masters in Business Analytics (MSBA) and Masters in Financial Economics (MSFE) students.

The fair offers employers unique access to globally minded, early career Master’s talent entering the market with a unique combination of cutting-edge, in-demand skills. Students will be searching for both full-time and internship opportunities focused on December 2022 and May 2023 starts.

The WSB MSBA program, ranked #8 nationwide, trains students with in-depth knowledge in areas such as cloud computing, data visualization, and machine learning anchored in the foundations of business management. For more information on the MSBA program, visit the program website here.

The MSFE program, launched in Fall of 2021, is a joint program between the WSB Finance Department and the UW–Madison Department of Economics. Students in this program learn theories that guide financial practices with an emphasis on modern quantitative methods in financial economics and econometrics as well as key analytics skills necessary to perform advanced financial analyses. With a portion of domestic students, these programs are largely international with students possessing work authorization for internships and three years of work authorization post-graduation without employer sponsorship via the STEM OPT extension.
