Business Sustainability Leadership Forum

The Business Sustainability Leadership Forum (BSLF) is a trusted leadership network that aligns UW–Madison researchers, industry executives, and state government to accelerate the generation and adoption of innovative sustainability practices and technologies across Wisconsin and beyond.

BSLF ignites conversations on the most pressing collective challenges in the sustainability space and gains insight through key university-industry collaborations. We help our industry members partner with the university, access talent, and engage in applied research – ensuring that industry needs, challenges, and innovations actively shape academic research and curriculum while accelerating real-world solutions.

Are you a sustainability leader at a corporation with strong ties to Wisconsin?

Student Engagement/Experiential Learning Opportunities
Learn about opportunities from internships to capstones for industry partners to leverage student and faculty expertise while helping develop great talent.

Support the Lakeshore Nature Preserve Frautschi Center
The Lakeshore Nature Preserve Frautschi Center will showcase UW-Madison’s commitment to sustainability by being the state’s first “Living Building” and UW-Madison’s first net-positive energy building (meaning it will produce more energy than it consumes). There is ongoing effort to build on a generous gift from Madison philanthropist Jerry Frautschi and his family and raise $5 million to support the long-term operations and improvements to this state-of-the-art facility along with hands-on educational programs.
